My name is Big Al The Basset Hound (Big Al for short) and I was born in the state of Tennessee on July 23, 2014. My birth dad’s name was RJ and my birth mom’s name was Audrey. My parents and I are all AKC-registered basset hounds of European bloodline. My humans adopted me on October 2, 2014. My favorite things are my family, sleep, and food! I also love all people and animals, even cats! With the help of my human parents, we started my own social media sites and this website to share my story with the world! Oh, Basset Hound, with droopy eyes so wise,
Your long ears, like velvet curtains, disguise
A soul that's gentle, loyal, and kind,
A heart that leaves no joy behind.
In every step, your paws grace the earth,
As if to savor life's infinite worth.
Your nose, so keen, can scent a trace,
Of a thousand stories left in each place.
With every wag of your tail so low,
You spread happiness wherever you go.
Your solemn expression, a mask of calm,
Yet mischief lurks beneath your basset charm.
Through fields and woods, you saunter slow,
Sniffing the secrets that nature bestows.
With ears to the ground, you navigate,
Uncovering truths that others debate.
And when the day is done, and shadows fall,
You curl up snug, by the hearth's warm call.
Your snores echo through the tranquil night,
A lullaby to soothe the world's plight.
Oh, Basset Hound, you're a breed apart,
A treasure that's etched on every heart.
With your timeless grace and a touch of clown,
You fill this world with love profound.
So, let us celebrate this noble hound,
With devotion, may our praises resound.
For you, dear Basset, forever we'll hold,
A place in our souls, as stories unfold.
